Music Therapy Team

Claire Cunningham, MTL, MT-BC

Claire (she/her) was born and raised in Pasadena, California, although she considers the Pacific Northwest home. She graduated from Colorado State University with her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Therapy, and completed an internship at an interdisciplinary clinic serving neurodiverse children and adolescents in Fort Collins, Colorado.

In practicing music therapy, Claire hopes to encourage individuals to take meaningful steps toward reaching their goals, and cultivate creativity, connection, and acceptance within her community. Claire has experience facilitating music groups in memory care, assisted living, and disabled adult populations, as well as a background in therapeutic recreation.

Elizabeth VanSant, MTL, MT-BC

Founder and Owner

Elizabeth (she/her) grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri and fell in love with music, specifically show tunes, at an early age. She received her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Therapy at the University of Kansas and fulfilled her internship at a school for autistic individuals in Columbus, Ohio.

Elizabeth embraces a neuroaffirmative and client-centered approach to therapy and strives to help each individual reach their full potential. One of her greatest joys is providing a space in which her clients can comfortably be themselves while they make music together. Though she primarily works with autistic and other neurodivergent individuals and groups, she also enjoys facilitating memory care groups at local long-term care centers.
