  • Not only does he thoroughly enjoy himself, but he also engages in valuable communication, develops language skills, and learns the importance of collaboration.

    Parent

  • Our Son has been learning adaptive drum lessons with Elizabeth from Eastside Music Therapy for the past 2 years. Elizabeth did an excellent job of making lessons suitable for him which would make it easier for him to learn. He is in band in his school now and Elizabeth does a wonderful job of connecting  to school teachers so that he is well ready for school too.

    Parents

  • Elizabeth is an excellent music therapist who is in tune with her clients, compassionate and caring, seamlessly adapting therapy each session to meet clients' changing needs, whether it be creating music, or just listening/being involved in the client's world. She is amazing! The joy on [my husband's] face when Elizabeth walked into the room says it all - she and the music they share have been a bright spot in his life, I'm so thankful for her!
